The brief
Restoring a home after fire damage is sensitive, demanding work. Our clients needed staircase and door joinery rebuilt and restored so the house could be returned to its proper character, with new elements matched faithfully to what had been lost. The brief called for accurate matching of profiles and detail, delivered with care alongside the wider restoration.
What we designed and made
We designed, made and installed replacement staircase and door joinery, carefully matching profiles, mouldings and detail to the original so the repairs are seamless. Each element was drawn, made in our workshop and installed by our own team, integrating with the surrounding restoration work.

Materials and craftsmanship
Solid timber was selected and hand-finished to match the original joinery, on construction built to last. Faithful matching of detail and finish ensures the restored elements sit indistinguishably alongside what remained.
The result
The completed restoration returned the house to its character, with staircase and joinery rebuilt to the original standard. It demonstrates the careful restoration joinery we can deliver for homes across Suffolk.
