The brief
Restoration projects ask for a careful hand: respecting and repairing what exists while adding new joinery that sits seamlessly alongside it. Our clients wanted a kitchen, dressing room, office and door joinery that would honour the character of the property while bringing it comfortably up to date. The work demanded sympathy with the existing fabric and exacting matching of detail.
What we designed and made
We designed, made and installed the new joinery — kitchen, dressing room, office and doors — detailed to sit naturally with the restored elements. Each piece was drawn in CAD, scribed to the building and finished to match its surroundings. Made in our workshop and installed by our own team to protect both the new work and the old.

Materials and craftsmanship
Solid and painted timber was selected and hand-finished to match the character of the property, on robust construction with quality ironmongery. Materials and detailing were chosen so the new joinery is indistinguishable in feel from the established interior.
The result
The completed work blends restoration and new joinery so the house feels whole, characterful and ready for modern life. It is a good example of the restoration and bespoke joinery we deliver for country estates across East Anglia.
