The brief
Homes in this part of Chelsea are characterful and carefully considered, and our client wanted joinery to match — pieces that would feel intrinsic to the architecture rather than added afterwards. The brief brought together several elements, from wall panelling to fitted storage and a bespoke vanity, all of which needed to share a consistent language and a faultless finish. As ever in central London, the work had to be resolved around an existing building, with services to conceal and access to manage, while holding the refined look the client expected.
What we designed and made
Working from a measured survey and detailed drawings, we designed and made wall panelling, fitted storage and joinery tailored to each room. Panelling was set out so that stiles, rails and panels align with windows, doors and fireplaces, giving the rooms a calm rhythm. Storage was planned around how the spaces are used, and the bespoke vanity and door joinery were detailed to tie the scheme together. Each piece was made in our Suffolk workshop, dry-fitted and finished before installation by our own team.

Materials and craftsmanship
Timber and veneers were selected for grain and consistency, with hand-applied paint finishes chosen to wear well and read beautifully in changing light. Solid framing, quality ironmongery and careful jointing underpin work designed to last. Making and finishing in our own workshop meant the components arrived ready to install cleanly alongside the other trades on a busy Chelsea project.
The result
The completed joinery gives the home a quiet richness — panelled walls, generous storage and considered detail that all feel as though they have always belonged. It is a clear example of the bespoke residential joinery we provide across Chelsea, Belgravia and central London.
