The brief
A school’s reception sets the tone for everyone who arrives, so it needs to be welcoming, hard-wearing and in keeping with the institution. The brief was for a reception desk, panelling and front-office joinery that would look the part, function well for staff and stand up to constant daily use, delivered around the school’s operation.
What we designed and made
We designed, made and installed the reception desk, wall panelling and front-office joinery, drawn and set out to suit the space and the way the front office works. The desk was detailed for practical daily use and accessibility, with panelling to give the area a considered, established feel. Made in our Suffolk workshop and installed by our own team.

Materials and craftsmanship
Veneered and solid timber were chosen for durability and appearance, hand-finished and built to withstand heavy daily use. The specification balances a warm, welcoming look with the robustness an institutional setting requires.
The result
The completed reception gives the school a confident, welcoming front of house that wears well day to day. It illustrates the commercial and institutional joinery we deliver for organisations across Suffolk and the region.
