Hand-made wardrobes, beds, tables, dressers — built to last

Classic Furniture

Furniture, made the way it used to be made.

Furniture, made the way it used to be made.

We’ve been hand-making English country furniture for over thirty years. Solid oak, walnut and cherry; mortice-and-tenon, dovetailed drawers, French-polished or wax-finished. Pieces designed to be used hard for fifty years and handed on.

Wardrobes, beds, tables, chairs, dressers, libraries and the smaller things — coffee tables, side tables, dressing tables, lamp stands. Made to your measurements, in any timber or finish.

Furniture FAQs

How long does a piece of bespoke furniture take?

Most pieces from brief to delivered in 8–14 weeks. Smaller occasional tables and chairs are quicker; full dressing rooms, libraries or four-poster beds with hand-carving take longer.

Can you match an existing piece?

Yes. We routinely match dressers, side tables and chairs to existing antiques — copying timber, finish, mouldings and patina. We hand-carve to match too.

Do you deliver and install across the UK?

Yes. We deliver and install across the UK and Europe — most weeks we have a van out in London, the Home Counties and East Anglia.
