The brief

Sometimes the most satisfying commissions are focused: a handful of well-made pieces that solve a specific need perfectly. Our client wanted fitted furniture made precisely to their dimensions, designed to suit the home and built to last for decades. Working directly with the homeowners, we developed each piece around how the spaces are used.

What we designed and made

We designed, made and installed several distinct fitted-furniture pieces, each drawn and set out to its space and scribed to the room on installation. The pieces combine practical storage with considered detailing, made to measure rather than adapted from standard sizes. Everything was made in our Suffolk workshop and fitted by our own team.

Materials and craftsmanship

Solid and veneered timber was selected for stability and appearance, hand-finished to a fine standard with quality ironmongery. Well-built carcasses and careful jointing give the furniture the longevity the client wanted.

The result

The completed pieces fit their spaces exactly and do their job beautifully, with the feel of proper, made-to-last furniture. It is a good illustration of the bespoke fitted furniture we make for homes across Suffolk.
