Eaton Place — Residential Joinery, Belgravia

The brief

Belgravia’s white-stucco houses set a high bar: generous proportions, fine plasterwork and an expectation of quiet, faultless detail. Our client wanted joinery that would meet that standard — vanities and door joinery that feel integral to the architecture and a finish that stands up to close inspection. The work had to be resolved within an existing period home, aligning new joinery with original features and concealing services without compromise.

What we designed and made

We designed, made and installed bespoke bathroom vanities, door joinery and fitted detailing tailored to the rooms. Vanities were sized and detailed around the sanitaryware and the space, doors and casings drawn to suit the period proportions, and every junction set out so the new work sits naturally against the old. Components were made and pre-finished in our Suffolk workshop and installed by our own team to protect the finish.

Materials and craftsmanship

Timber and finishes were selected to suit a home of this calibre, with hand-applied paint and fine detailing throughout. Solid framing and well-chosen ironmongery give the pieces both longevity and a satisfying feel in use. Workshop manufacture kept the on-site programme clean and precise in a sensitive Belgravia setting.

The result
